Rental Income Boost

Rental Income Boost

If you own a rental property in Princeton and would like to increase your rental income, there are great ways to add additional residential units to your existing property.

  • Watch a rental market update from one of our partners and local real estate expert, Josh Witon. Josh talks in detail about the rental markets in Princeton and best ways to increase your return on investment.
  • The municipality allows all single family zoned properties to have an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). Unlike many other places, Princeton has no “owner occupancy” requirement for ADUs: you are allowed to rent both the ADU and the main house.
  • There are plenty of complex rules controlling the ADUs, but our expert team can evaluate your property or property you are looking to purchase and assist in designing, permitting and building an ADU. Download our ADU brochure to learn more.
  • We have standard models that are specifically designed with Princeton’s regulations in mind. These can be pre-fabricated or built on site with low disruption to your current tenants. We work hard to keep up with the rules, so you won’t have to.

Once the new unit is created, we can help get the property rented and/or manage it.

Properties that are not located in single family zones may fall under additional regulations that encourage creation of “gentle density” recently enacted in Princeton. The property evaluation report will identify those as part of the development potential of a property.

For our clients, boosting your rental income should be as easy as 1,2,3
